pinkglass
i disputed 3 accts that were paid charge offs and they all came back verified on all 3 cr. one of the accts has been paid and inactive for 4 yrs the other for 3 yrs the other for 1 yr. what should i do now? is it hopeless? i figured at least the 4 yr old one would come off. i figured they would get rid of my records after 2 yrs and the high balance was only 800 dollars its not like it was thousands. any advice would really help me. divemedic
All of what efforts? It was only the first round. This takes a while, have patience, it can be done. It just takes time. Hang in there, paid C/O's are the hardest to get rid of.
miracle
Hiya pink! I know it is discouraging to not have any huge progress on your first round... but remember that persistance pays off and it isn't going to happen over night. Keep reading following the process.. it will pay off in time (((HUGS)) -Jenn
tripeclipse
Heya Pink,I'm just getting started. I am nervous as hell as to what responses I might get back but I know that the caring people here will be on my side when the s*** hits the fan. So don't give up cuz a lot of people (including me) are going through that same stuff.

blacksurfer
Wait a few months, about six months. Dispute again, with different reasons.
miracle
Is there any inaccurate within the TL whatsoever? (ie.. date opened, high balance, wrong acct #.. etc..) You should dispute those next.
pinkglass
the info was different between the 3 cb but now that i disputed it the onfo has changed and they all match. should i really wait 6 months? i thought i read somewhere it was 60 days
pinkglass
should i send a mov letter?
miracle
You need to wait 60 days.. not 6 months. Dispute any inaccuracies in the TL's.. once all efforts are exasuted with the actual inaccuracies.. try a PR (aka MOV letter) CRAs generally do not respond to those. They are mostly to build paper trail for lawsuits. Good luck! -Jenn
