Kevin001
Anyone have any experience in writing conditional/restrictive endorsements for California on a payment that will put the Collection Agency into a position of entering into a contract with me that they will delete any negative credit reporting upon cashing of the payment? The goal being that if the collection agency cashes the payment and fails to remove the item from the credit bureaus they are faced with a breach of contract lawsuit?Kevin
divemedic
Many states do not allow RE. Even if they do, there are many restrictions and the odds are that it will not be done correctly. IMO, they do not work.If it were that easy I would just write "paid in full" on my next car payment check and get out of 2 years of payments.
