Average Joe
Called EXP a couple of days ago to dispute a few addy on my CR. One of the addys is just old, but the other one is a gen-u-wine incorrect address! Never even lived in the city, much less at the address listed! The CSR I talked to was very polite and said they would look into it. I received a letter two days later stating that the address information contained in their reports is sent to them by the credit grantors. I guess this is just a polite way of saying: "If the OC/CA gave us this address, then it must be right and YOU are a LIAR!"Should I dispute these again over the phone, or should I ask what TL's they are attached to and contact the OC/CA by mail disputing the address? Which way do you think would be more effective?
workinninetofive
Hmmm... you could try going that route.. asking them what TL's they are linked to. I wonder if they will tell you who supplied the info. Or you can call & get a different rep.
TXMiche11e
I had the same thing happen over the phone. EX told me which CA had reported this information. Dh called to dispute same exact thing...was deleted. Guess it depends on the reps mood that day
