questions regarding reports and MYFICO

I am new and will probably be posting many many questions over the next several months as I attempt to repair my credit.

I just purchased a MYFICO package (Suze orman made me do it) with the FICO scores and all 3 credit reports.

I have a few questions about these reports tho.

1.There are no addresses or contact info for "Credit Grantors". Since many of them are very old or are collection agencies I have no idea how to contact them to try and make things better. Additionally the account numbers are incomplete. The numbers are x'd out (eg. 310 xxx xxx xx).

Are the credit reports from MYFICO incomplete?

Thanks and I look forward to receiving advice from many of you!

Did you save your receipt so you can get a Suze Orman refund?

The CRA's will have the names and addresses of everyone who either reports to, or obtains an inquiry from them.

MYFICO is a second-hand report. You probably won't find the in-depth information that you would if you order your reports individually from each of the three CRA's.

MYFICO is a good source for your true FICO score, but not to get a report as to what EQ, EX, and TU are reporting.

I believe it is best to get a report from each individual CRA so that you can easily dispute with them (as well as confirmation #'s that they want) and have access to the information on your tradelines. You were right in getting your actual FICO scores as well so that you know what you have when you're starting out.

how deceptive of them not to mention that its not a complete report.

Have you come across this problem before? I wonder if MYFICO has had to refund people in the past because of this.

It's not just MYFICO. Just about anyone can sign up to be a reseller of credit reports...

If you want a true credit report, you order it directly from each CRA.

If you want your true FICO score, you order it directly from myfico.com

People don't know that when they order their "personal scores" from the CRA's that they're not getting their true FICO scores.

See how this works? Nice scam both ways around.
