calpine34 Posted April 27, 2005 Report Share Posted April 27, 2005 Capitol One is reporting a balance past due and reporting CO under the current status for an account that had a last activity on 4/2000 but they show a date of late payment as 8/2000. What are they doing here and I need some help. Is this permissible? The SOL on the account is exxpired so they can't collect but are they trying to make it more damaging than it is?Thanks. strumpeace Posted April 28, 2005 Report Share Posted April 28, 2005 A charge off should show a zero balance. I've had several of these changed myself.
