Been_Ponzied Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 After trying and trying for six months and being refused, I sent a certified letter to Citibank's collection agency in my state to revoke our offer. What do you think the result will be? They should have taken our repeated offers of 50%, but they demanded 80%. We couldn't get my hands on that much, since we lost our jobs due to disability and am victims of a Ponzi investment theft. The CA knows we are judgement-proof, yet they still threatened to sue, bluffing that they can get some of our SSDI money (not possible). We are concerned only with our credit rating, even though we are getting up there in age and probably will never need to finance again - couldn't afford the payments. What do you think they will do when they see we revoked our offer? They ignored our DV letters completely! Is it ok to revoke your offer?
DocDon Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 They threatened you with an action they cannot take. Violation.Report the CA.
