abeautifulwoman Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Can someone offer some assistance please. I don't know what to do about CA's on my CR that have never sent me any type of bills. Can I use the DV letter to get them off my CR? I know that in the DV letter it says "I am responding to the letter you sent me dated...." but if I've never received a letter or bill from them, can I still send out this letter? If not, is there a letter that I can send them regarding DV?
willingtocope Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Basically, use the same letter, but change that line to "I just found you listed on my credit reports..."
willingtocope Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 And, by the way, only send them whatever identifing info they have listed on your reports...such as "re: Account number XXXXXXXX1234" along with your name and address.

I have a question about this link. I have disputed with CRA and they verified all but one, which they deleted. So If I am understanding this, I now send a DV to the OC's and CA's and then dispute the same ACC's with the CRA's again? Is that correct?
