Voiding Deficiency Judgements

Recommended Posts

This one is a little complex.

I purchased a few properties that I ended up losing because they where way overvalued. I ended up just signing the deeds back to the lender unsolicited because i knew they were going into Foreclosure. They accepted the deeds and sued me for the balance of the mortgages. They won a default judgement and recorded all the mortgage balances as deficiency judgements. The properties never went to Foreclosure.

Now with that I managed to save my credit score becasue I don't have any Foreclosures on my report. And apparently the judgements are not showing up either.

My question is, under the State of Ohio Revised Code it states that deficiency judgemenets are void after 2 years.

How do I get these removed?

Thanks,

Keith
