Jul76
I have 2 inquiries on my credit report from a mortgage company. I have never in my life applied for a mortgage. My parents were buying a house a couple years ago and its the same company. I have no idea why they would have run my credit, I was in college at the time. I asked my parents and they have no idea why. How were they able to inquire about my credit without my information? Does this look bad on my credit report and should I try to have this removed? miracle
Ok.. well if you are concerned about permissible purpose, you can write them a letter asking what their permissible purpose was and go from there if you would like to nail them for viewing your report with out PP.If you are just worried about getting them off so that they don't affect your score, you are pretty much beyond the time where a deletion of the inquiry will matter. It will fall off in a few months, no biggie.I guess the bottom line is what is your objective? -Jenn
