mudpie
What would be considered a good score so I could refinance my home. My scores are 642, 704 and 733. I don't have any collections, charge offs, etc. Just late payments (due to my pending divorce and my husband's late mortgage payments) and some high credit balances. Otherwise, everything looks ok. breathing_easier
You might want to post this over in the Mortgage forum as the mortgage gurus check in regularly there. Your scores look good for a decent rate; however, from what I've been told, the best rates are for scores 720 and higher.
Ahntara
You have a mid-704 score. That is great for rates. Go for it right now. Do not pass Go, Do not collect $200. Good luck!

breathing_easier
Have to wait for the divorce to be over. Than I'll start looking.Could work to your advantage. Your mid score could hit 720 by then. You could work on getting those lates removed and getting the high balances down.
mudpie
That's what I intend to do. We will have a little money to split, so I'll pay off as much as I can than wait a while and see how it affects my scores.
Ahntara
During the divorce process, make sure that all joint accounts are paid off and closed.
