Tryin to obtain a CC with a low score

I am looking for a CC (that is not secured) that I can obtain with a credit score of 589. I don't have all 3 of my scores I just have that one from EQ.

Does anyone know where I can get a list of companies that give credit to people with low scores. Is this possible to obtain or do I HAVE to get a secured card. I've heard bad things about secured cards plus, I really don't want to pay all those fees.

Any help is appreciated.

you can try household or orchard bank. it's usually a $300 limit to start, but it is a start.

With a score that low, there is a good chance you will have to get a secured card, but you never know.

I got a secured card from New Millenium Bank last year, and I love it. It's added a positive TL to my CR and yesterday, I found a way to pay the payment online. I only use it once a month for gas. I recently moved, and while I put in my forwarding address at the post office, I never received the bill from them. My payment was slated to be due 5/10, and I wanted to get it out of the way. I called them and they told me I could pay online. I registered in 5 minutes and now I can check my complete history, make payments, or set up automatic payments via their website. It's great.

Naaa a 589 is more than enough for an unsecured fee-ridden card like First Premier, FNB Marin, etc.
