jessica143
I need to file bankruptcy, but I'm very low-income and I can't afford the attorney fees. I was considering paying a document preperation co. to prepare to paperwork and file pro se. My case is somewhat complicated though. One of the debts I'll be discharging is on a car loan. The vehicle was wrecked in December and I couldn't afford to fix it. It sat on my soon to be father-in-laws lawn for several months, as I hoped I would be able to come up with the money eventually, until he got fed up a month ago and made me call a salvage yard to come get it. Since the lender will want to repo. the car when I discharge the debt, will this cause problems for me if I don't have an attorney working on my behalf?
