Hello again guys.

Although I've been successful in getting some items removed, Its been a nightmare trying to remove 3 negative trade lines from original creditors. Two of them are from small Jewelers Store, the other is from a Robinsons May Store card. Everytime I dispute, it comes back verified! HELP! :)

Any help with this would be appreciated.

I wish I could be more encouraging, but in my experience my negative OC TLs have been the toughest to delete. When I first began my credit repair in 2003 I did have some moderate success with goodwill letters to the CEOs of a few original creditors. However, they were OCs with whom I had had a 20-year relationship, most of it positive, and I think that's why they made the decision to simply delete the negative tradeline. I had actually asked them to update to "Pays as Agreed" so I could keep that 20-year history, but I was still grateful, if somewhat sad, at the deletion. I have five OCs that have been tough nuts to crack and since I haven't goodwilled them in more than six months I'm getting ready to send out another round.

Have you tried goodwill letters? It's worth a try. Anything at all incorrect on the TL...date opened, balance, date of last activity, etc.?

The date of last activity IS wrong on all of them. How can I use that against my advantage?
First, make sure you're not confusing the "status" date (the date that the OC last reported to the CRAs) with the DOLA (the date you last brought the account current). On some credit reports it is difficult to tell how they're reporting the DOLA. How have you previously disputed the TL? Pick the TL apart for any errors, leaving about 60 days from the submission of one dispute until the next, and keep disputing, using different reasons.
Will goodwill letters work if the debt has been charged off?
I had meant to ask in my last post whether you had paid the accounts. If you haven't paid, or if they sold it to a CA, they won't be very motivated to honor a goodwill request.
