rising_score
A few weeks ago, I called Experian to dispute inquiries from Discover Card and a CA called Worldzen. Experian put me though to their fraud department, and then a few days later I found out I had fraud alerts on all my credit reports. In todays mail, I received a letter from EQUIFAX, saying that they removed the Discover inquiry, and the Worldzen inquiry is not reporting on my credit file. I was surprised to receive this letter from Equifax, because I never disputed a Worldzen inquiry with them! I guess if one of the CRAs puts a fraud alert on your file, they must share the info you are disputing with all CRAs.

wings1223
I just disputed with experian today, should I expect equifax to take them off too?
scriptgurl
I disputed some TL's and asked them to verify being reported correctly. That is when I received the Ex credit file. I didnt get any deletes that way. It kind of has me thinking maybe Equifax doesnt verify with creditors at all. Maybe they just use the info from Experian and say it was verified by creditor..... hmmmm?
