Average Joe
Ok, here's the deal:I sent my first dispute(s) to EQ using their online dispute form. EQ never responded to this except to confirm they had received my dispute. I followed up with a second dispute - this time CMRRR. In the letter I informed them that they had not responded to my first request as required by law, and that I was giving them 15 days to correct the erroneous TL's on my report. This was almost 30 days ago. So far, I still have had no response from EQ. My question is, where is the best route to go from here? I could send some sort of ITS letter, however, I don't want to make a threat that I can't or don't want to follow through on. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a response from these scumbags? credit-nightmare
Sometimes an ITS letter is all they will understand.

Just to be certain, how long did you wait betweene sending your first and second disputes? You need to wait 35 days between the date you initiate your online dispute and when you send your follow-up correspondence. They have 30 days to respond and you allow another five days for snail mail, in the event they decide to go that route instead of notifying you online. Average Joe
Yeah breathing. As of today, it was over 35 days from the date that they had signed for my letter. Please keep in mind that it has now been over 70 days since my initial dispute. Anyone else know of an alternative to an ITS letter or continuing to bang my head against EQ's brick wall? GreatGadsby
is the first address on your report the address where you currently reside? I moved, and since only one CC reports my new address, EQ continually sends stuff to my old address.
