hopeful
I have a judgement and I made an agreement with the bank to pay it off. This judgement is from a repo on an automobile in 1999. The bank says that I can't pay to have judgement deleted that they can only make it state satisfied ,bank said it's illegal to make judgement completely go off credit report. Is this true? creditdodger
The FCRA requires creditors to report ACCURATE info. It does not require them to report. But if they do...it must be accurate. It sounds like you are talking to someone who took a 15 minute training session on the FCRA...if that. Talk to the higher ups, maybe even on the Executive level.
