2FixCredit
It will be 30 days tomorrow. I am disputing a judgment as I had it vacated. TU sent me a letter saying they could not accept my paperwork (from the court no less) and would investigate themselves. Nothing yet.Experian, I called and spoke with a live person after they sent me a copy of my report with nothing changed or investigated. I mailed directly to whom I spoke with, Judgment came off the next week.Same thing basically with Equifax. So, what's up with TU?? Should I try to call and speak with a live person also? Or, should I wait the 35 days and send a letter???If I call will it mess up the 30 day thing? Thanks
Methuss
Wait the extra 5 days for mail routing delays. After that get tough with them. Make it clear that you have a court order showing you are not liable for the debt and that continuing to leave it on your credit report is placing them in a position of civil liability. Start of stern but nice just saying that you really don't want to have to use the courts to correct this as it will be expensive for them you just want it properly fixed. Offer to send them the order to vacate again if needed (but they should still have it scanned into their tracking system anyways).
