I am in a similar situation had a judgment filed back in 99, called the courthouse and they said they no longer have the papers was sent off somewhere and it has not appeared on any of my 3 crs in a very long time. is there a way for it to show up again. If not, then, if the courthouse has no papers for the independant contractors to scan (so they can sell to LN, who re-sell to the bureaus), then you are pretty safe.All this is contingent, of course, on the plaintiff not filing a renewal of the judgment (if this is allowable under your states' laws). chincheck Posted May 17, 2005 Report Share Posted May 17, 2005 You have to write lex-nex a letter requesting all of your personal info. Include a copy of your ID, SSN, and a utility bill.
