imjustagoyle
I have to stress how helpful this document has been to me in explaining things like "what is a motion to strike?" and "what is a motion for summary judgement"? It also answers questions about requirements for filing motions and formatting, etc. What a great resource!!!! (and I'm not even in California!) hoapres
A must read. While it should be obvious that it is of most use for Federal court cases in Northern California, as a general, clearly not specific, guide for other situations an excellent tutorial. 1. If you are in suing in another federal court the handbook will be valuable as the general Federal court rules will hold in all Federal courts.2. If you are in a state court, be aware that you will need to become aware and familiar of YOUR state rules, that state courts often use rules similar, but not the same, as the Federal rules.
