Tradelines - JDB & OC

I have a CO CC account that has been purchased by a JDB.

I am planning on settling for less than the orginal amount in about 5 months(2 months after SOL for suing runs out) and getting them(JDB) to delete their tradeline.

My question is what about the OC tradeline? Will/Can I negotiate how their tradeline will be reflected/deleted on my credit report.

Please limit response(s) to the question asked.

Thanks.

We're happy to try to help, but we're not the other party in a lawsuit responding to interrogatories so you might want to lighten up.

No, you will not be able to negotiate the OC's TL with the JDB/CA. One has nothing to do with the other. You can try a goodwill letter to the OC for possible update to "Pays as Agreed" or deletion. You can try disputing the OC's TL off your reports. In my experience, though, OC's TLs are tough to get deleted.

BTW, in about 3 months all of my collections will be past the SOL in my state.
That's great. Just keep in mind that they can still sue after the SOL is up, but you have a very strong affirmative defense. It's not unusual for a JDB/CA to be watching the SOL and sue right before it expires. So keep a sharp eye out, even possibly checking your local court records periodically.
Do you mind if after I get this mess cleaned-up that I change my name to "breathing easier 2"?
I'd be honored. However, it might be a while. I've been at this credit repair biz for more than two years and still haven't completely cleaned up my mess.
