iviguy
Is this good, bad or otherwise? I have no idea what it was before all this happened but I think it was really good before. High 700's I think.
breathing_easier
Where did you obtain that score? From myfico.com or a service such as MyCreditKeeper? myfico.com gives you your "true" FICO score, while MCK gives you a "FAKO" score.Different types of lenders look at FICO scores differently and value them differently. Therefore, one lender may see your 676 score as "fair" while another sees it as "good." MCK would rate a 676 score as "fair," but they rate a 680 score as "good." Welcome to the CIC! Be sure to read, read, read everything under the links on the homepage and under the links at the top of this page. Credit repair is a lot of work and you need to educate yourself. iviguy
I am assuming it is the FICO score since this company is directly affiliated with Experian so the score probably came from there. As soon as we get to a point where we can bargain with the OC's we will do so and try to restore the credit to R1 status. For the time being though, it is what it is. I have been very successful in staying off the collectors and it is all because of the information I got from this site. This forum and site is awesome. Thanks
