copperarab
admin..GREAT site! I just added it to my favorites to check out later.kes...What exactly are you looking for? There are many ways to look up case files..ONE is start with your States Court website. If you are planning on going pro se..your going to have to wise up and start REALLY working hard. It is going to take many hours/weeks/months to properly learn what you need to know...get proactive!my 2 cents~
kes
if you could just give me an example of how to find a case file. For example Klein vs. Frank in Florida right? I don't know the case number, but if I did it probably be easier. I've found some cases just using google, but I can't seem to find anything on case files in lawdog. copperarab
if you could just give me an example of how to find a case file. For example Klein vs. Frank in Florida right? I don't know the case number, but if I did it probably be easier.Below is an example..I typed in AOL's Keyword search Klein vs. Frank and found this site.http://www.law.fsu.edu/library/flsupct/95001-95250.htmlYou can use google.com, or askjeeves.com, or numerous other engine sites. Are you not very familiar with a computer? It can be very scary for those that are not pc minded. My mom can't even pull up her own email to read! LOL!!!I still think you need to type in your District Courts name into a search engine and go from there. You have to understand, nobody is going to do your work for you. kes
I don't understand. I went to the site you referenced, but I did not see a klein vs. frank case file. I saw a vs. Klein and a vs. frank. What is it I'm missing here?---------------------------------------------------------------------------------OK, I think the problem with Klein vs. Frank is that the date is 1976 and the internet has only the more recent files. But, if it is that old every legal professional including the sloppy court should know about it. I just wanted to get a copy of it just in case. Perhaps I should use the search: Parole evidence Klein vs Frank-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Note: I asked the web administrator at the FSU law library site about it.He gave me the info on where (case number, court designation, etc) to find it. I got a copy from lexis.com for $9.
