holdingon
Wolpoff & Abramson has called everyday for the past 4 days. But I still have not received anything in the mail to verify what debt they are trying to collect on.( I believe it is MBNA) Should I send a DV letter and and a no contact letter to them now or wait. This debt is 7 months away from SOL.Second question is. In the state of Texas does a payment start the SOL over again? (FNANB)Thanks for the help! aggravated
Also goes by "Platinum Financial Services". They sued me for 2 accounts at once (Bank One and Circuit City). They did it through a local law firm called "Javitch, Block & Rathbone". They used my brothers address to serve the summons. They knew that I didn't live there because of their frequent calls to his residence. I just finished preparing a motion to vacate the judgement and plan to file it next week. IMHO, DV them. Keep reading here. They will mess up! They had up to 8 collection accounts on me (2 were duplicates, 2 were bogus account numbers). They have disposed of all but 1 now(including the 2 accounts that they got the judgments on). I DV'd them last week on the most recent. I will try to let you know how it turns out. Seems they are a revolving door most of the time. Hope my rambling helps.
