valdor125
Here is yet another slimy trick that the CRAs may be using to keep your credit in bondage. I recently disputed several accounts with equifax (Experian and Transunion may not have caght onto this yet) and when i received the letter stating my results, the letter says, in bold italics "The results of our reinvestigation are as follows:" The only problem is that this was not a reinvestigation, it was the first time that I have ever disputed any items on my report. So now, by listing my disputes as reinvestigation, the CRA has a 45 day time limit to verify the information. If tthis has happened to anyone else, I would be more than happy to enter into a class action suit against the CRAs
momof5
Nope. They label *all* investigations as "re-investigation".
