tracylatroy Posted June 2, 2005 Report Share Posted June 2, 2005 MY TOWNHOUSE I WAS RENTING FELL IN, WATER FROM DRY ROTTEN BATHROOM SEALS (WHICH I HAVE) CAUSE THE PROBLEM. WATER WAS IN THE LIGHT-BULBS AND ELECTRICAL SOCKETS/ AND THE CEILING FELL IN;WHICH I HAVE PICTURES. THE PLACED NEEDED MONTHS OF REPAIR, I DECIDED NOT TO SUE B/C IT HAPPEN ON 9/11/01 AND I WAS STRESSED. I JUST FOUND OUT I WAS IN COLLECTIONS WITH A BILL OF 3,100.0 WHICH THEY KNOW I HAD TO MOVE BECAUSE OF THEIR D EFFECTIVE PLACE. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Radio_Guy Posted June 2, 2005 Report Share Posted June 2, 2005 It sounds like you experienced what is called effective eviction, because the landlord allowed the property to become uninhabitable.
