123rich Posted June 5, 2005 Report Share Posted June 5, 2005 They just want to make sure you are the one who you say you are.But they did that to me before, I sent them the stuff and I never heard anything back from them, I sent them another letter for deletes and they sent me another letter stating I had to send them a copy of my DL, SSN, and phone bill. It happened to me several times.Now, I send in the ID information WITH my dispute. They always request it so why bother playing their game which could lose you time.
