In summer 2003 I needed emergency hospital assistance. My bill is almost 4000$.

This is written in my consent for admission and treatment.

"Fin. Agreement: The undersigned agrees, to pay the account of the hospital in accordance with the regular rates and terms of the hospital. I hereby authorize Hospital to apply at its discretion any credit balance wich may show on this account as a result of any payments by my...and all other accounts, for which I may be responsible.

Should the account be referred to an attorney for collection, a collection agency, or through a civil action in justice or circiut court, the undersigned shall pay reasonable legal fees and collection expences. ...."

My question is: Does this mean that this is a contract between me and the debt collector as well as the creditor?

Thanks for any suggestions
