hubbys_nightmare
Well darn...if you don't know what it means there's not much chance of my figuring it out.But it gets stranger....this morning it was marked as disputed on CR and listed as pending when I checked the status of my disputes. Now it's still listed as pending when I check status of disputes...but it's no longer marked as disputed on my CR. Glad I printed out both CR and status check this morning. Think I'll just continue to print out both for a couple of days. If it turns out to be something really weird at least I'll have daily copies of all the changes.I'll try calling CRA tomorrow. Of course I expect to be just as much in the dark after talking to them as I am at this moment.
nevermore
Just guessing but maybe that's their way of making it unrated........... until the matter is resolved.
tmac01
I disputed Midland with Equifax(CSC) and Experian. Its the same account and EQ dropped it right away but Experian did not drop it the first time and now I have disputed it online and it just shows as pending. I hope it falls off for the both of us ...Good Luck.....
mommywads
Good LuckI disputed Midland on all CRs back in February.. Then again in March and ended up with a NO STATUS result on my report as well. Its been that way ever since. They won't let me dispute any longer because "The items have already been verified" blah blah blah.I also tried DVing Midland with no response from them. Its not been almost 2 weeks since I sent the 2nd DV letter and still havent heard anything. I'm about to send my letters and my CMRRR to the CRAs and dispute again in writing. Both that it's not a factoring company and that it is unvalidated debt.Let me know how your's turns out!
dtmd
I do know that when it's marked as no status - it does put it under the "adverse accounts" column.I had a credit card for years - never late, paid on time, etc. I thought I had lost it. I called it in to the credit union and reported it lost. NOW that account shows as "no -status" an is always showing in the "adverse" area...even though it was Pristine! tmac01
Heres what I am going to do now. Midland is pretty tough. They are to CA's What Cap 1 is to OC's , you just can't beat them. When I Dvd them they verified everything and I mean everything. Now in the letter they sent me they put that MRC Receivables Corp purchased all rights to the TLs and that Midland Credit management was the servicer so why am I messing with the servicer and not with the Co that owened the TL. So I am going after MRC R.C. if I* can just find a address on them. Also I am going to double whammy them by Dving the OC two both TLs that MRC/ Midland has. If this doesn't work then nothing will, but its woth a try
cmwins
Wouldn't it be Midland's responsibility to give you the address of MRC? Is there anything that would hold them responsible if they don't disclose the address to you?
hubbys_nightmare
It's the same darn company. MRC and Midland are both just a subsidary of Encore Capital group.
tmac01
Right !! Encore Capital are the big guys that own Midland and MRC but how can Midland answer your DV with " we are only the Server and MRC is the owner," thats a flat out lie. There is a violation there and I will find it. If Midland would have said " we are the server and Encore Capital is the owner of this account, " then that would make sense !! beeboah
Midland is reporting a big No Status on my Experian CR. Whenever I call in to dispute, the rep says that they can't see where it says no status.I say, well that's not my fault is it? I explain that the account is either good or derogatory. They tell me there is nothing they can do.Please help.
hubbys_nightmare
Not much help, but I've gotten fed up dealing with Midland. They still report as "No Status" plus their answer to both of my disputes has been to send me a letter asking for my SS# account#, etc, etc to help them validate....then they verify with the CRA's the day after sending me the letter.I've sent them a letter stating they have 10 days to provide all documents request to prove the debt and either provide full and complete info to the CRA's or delete it or I'll see them in court. My guess is I'll be filing court papers 8 days from now.

hubbys_nightmare
Oh heavens! What aren't they reporting as ?!?! On the various reports they're listed as a collection agency, an attorney, and factoring company. They're listing an installment account on one and a collection account on 2.None of the dates they provide match on any of the reports. And last but not least the OC's date of removal is 1/07....Midland's is 6/07.And it gets better. The OC was removed from EX and TU thru dispute in June. (HSBC) The reinserted on both this month as HSBC NV with a different account # and no 5 day notice before reinsertion. So I'm just going after everyone involved cuz I'm tired of dealing with jerks.
