carol
Here Is your little pain again. I did one credit report with experian. I live in Pa. Don't have the once a year free credit report yet for Pa. I would guess that all of the credit bureaus have the same information as experian. Should I write them dispute letters with out doing a credit report? Thank you very much for putting up with me. Carol
c m chase
Absolutely not. I don't think I've ever heard of someone's reports all being the same. You need to get a report from each bureau directly and THEN dispute what's on there. You might even have one that has no baddies. jasen
No, they can all be completely different. They don't really trade information with each other, they don't care what the other bureau's have on file. It completely depends on what the creditors and collection agencies decide to send to who. You should always check all 3, since one may have things the others don't, or vice versa. It won't hurt to send a dispute for something that doesn't exist in one of their files, but it could be listed with a different account number/amount/creditor, etc, and they wouldn't be smart enough to figure it out.
