simplysilky
I need to send disputes to Equifax--do I need to dispute each item on a different sheet of paper or should I just lump them on one page with the account numbers and my reasons? Also I have read that you don't DV the CRA's...is this true? Some do and some don't--I'm confused! I can't dispute online with Equifax-no report number (I got my report from myfico). Luckily, Equifax is located in Atlanta, where I'm from, so it cuts down on days for the letter to be sent...
scriptgurl
No you can't DV a CRA, you can only Dispute the TL and then send a MOV when they verify
jasen
And you can list all your disputed accounts in the same letter. I prefer disputing by letter as well, no report # needed and you have a record of it being sent.
simplysilky
Soooooooo.... send my dispute letters to the Collection agency not Transunion and not the OC? Or send all my disputes to Transunion? Please forgive me for not understanding the process!
scriptgurl
OC's dont have to reply to a DV... Send a DV to the CA first ,then Dispute with the CRA. MAke sure you send them Certified RRR.
