VegasGuy
I have 10-12 charge offs stemming from 3-5 years of bad times that I went through....They total about $7000, but they average just a couple hundred dollars, with one a few thousand...I want to clean my credit quickly, and don't even have a problem with paying them off in full, as long as they are REMOVED, and not just marked paid....Is this even possible?Any help would be great...Jay
breathing_easier
PFDs (pay for delete) are hard to get because the credit reporting agencies do not like it and a CA or OC can lose its reporting privileges if the CRAs find out they've done it. Therefore, you will probably want to start out with disputing the tradelines with the CRAs as "not mine." Read all the permanent posts (called "stickies") at the top of the Credit Repair discussion forum on this site, as well as the information under the Credit Repair link at the top of this page. Also, order Kristy Welch's "Good Credit is Sexy" book from this site. Read, read, read and education yourself on the subject. Knowledge is power.Tell us a little more about the TLs. When were they open, charged off, etc.? Are they CAs or OCs?
