WorkingOnIt
So far, I've achieved nothing but, I have gained an awful lot of knowledge. Three days ago, I walked into the post office with both of my young children and 14 cmrrr letters. It was 5:10 and the office closed at 5:15. It was 100 degrees outside and it had taken me two weeks of reading, 4 days of letter preparation, and 3 days of mailing preparation, photocopying, etc. to actually walk through the post office door. The two women at the desk could tell that this father was at the end of his rope. They were calm and helpful (with the letters and my kids). They helped me until 5:23 pm and didn't say a word about it. Luckily no other customers were behind me.When I walked out the door, I felt like I'd taken a tremendous step from passively hoping for my credit (and my wife's) to improve to actually understanding it and doing something about it. Thanks to everyone who posts here, the admin, and mods. That evening, I really felt grateful for this forum and those nice ladies at the post office. late learner
Good Luck! I remember when I started and things moved so slowly (they still do) but was glad to find this board to keep me motivated. Then I found myself slowly TALKING about credit repair to people and getting excited to come home and see what was in the mail. Then, we started celebrating every delete that I achieved. It WILL work.
Radio_Guy
Hi WorkingOnItWelcome, and Boy do I remember that same feeling... A ton of a research and preparation just to send about 10 CMRRR letters. I have to tell you that those 10 letters have changed my life. 85% of all my problems dissappeared within 35 days. Then with a little more effort, the remaining 15% of "the Troubles" dissappeared. I hope you will be pleasantly surprised like I was...Good luck. WorkingOnIt
One of my DVs is being returned as undeliverable with no forwarding address. I see that this company is reporting a different address on each of my CRs. I looked closer and noticed that none of them have updated since initially reported in 2002. I'm not counting my chicks before they've hatched but, I am hoping that this company is gone. I do have grounds for dispute on at least the undeliverable address at this point! This will win you more deletes and give you more options if it doesn't get deleted on the first go-around...It worked for me for 10 out of 12 "baddies."Good luck... nativechild48
Hold on to that undeliverable as it is the start of the papertrail for that company. Also may sure your reports are current. Good luck!
