msleah
Okay, had Capital One & Cross Country credit cards several years ago. Was layed off in 2001. Had to live on CC's for awhile, they have all been charged off/resold, etc. since 2002. So I am sure Capital One & Cross Country will not give me a card. But of course they keep sending me those lovely letters saying they will give me one if I transfer old balances to new card. Not going to fall for that! Should I try for secured Orchard? Or another?Dont' have alot of money for a huge secure deposit. Need just some good credit. Can get a car, a card, nada!! Got turned down for gas card, etc. I know there are 1000 suggestions buried in this website and I have really looked. Just looking for simple answer. let_it_slide
I have heard (from this forum) that a secured card can help rebuild credit. I'm currently looking into this option myself.
bigdaddyroy
The fight will be a challenge but be focus and stay the course. Doing something everyday in relation to your credit will definitely pay off.
