Superior Asset Mgmt in PA verifies after they change names

Superior Asset has an address in PA and one in FL, and keeps verifying (and ignore my VLs) AFTER they changed the name to some phoney baloney lawyer, also in Clearwater, Florida. This is for a bill that I paid in full to T-Mobile before collection (and sent them proof).

Does the 30-day clock start ticking for validation under this new name?

Can't I sue them for verifying under another name that they are trying to collect under now? If so, how do I sue them when I'm in Nevada and they are in PA or FL? The filing fees for state or federal court are huge, and there is no Registered Agent for Service.

Thanx.

Ask the court to waive the filing fee. If they are incorporated, there is a registered agent, period. No way around that.

All you have to do is find out what state they are inc'd in and go to the Secretary of state page. Do a search for their corporate name or corporate officers, and it should come up. Serve the RA or the company

Ask them who their registered agent is, or just send the summons to their main office.

When they dun you under a new name, yes the 30 day DV clock restarts.

Don't send them proof of anything. Make them work, make them send YOU proof that you owe anyone anything.

Thanks, as usual, an excellent post. I will do what you suggested, however, are you saying I should ask the CA who and where their registered agent is? They are one of the sleaziest - THEY aren't going to tell me. Or did you mean ask the Secretary of State?

Thanks!
