My gibberish to english translator says that:

611.© Notification of consumer dispute in subsequent consumer reports. Whenever a statement of a dispute is filed, unless there is reasonable grounds to believe that it is frivolous or irrelevant, the consumer reporting agency shall, in any subsequent consumer report containing the information in question, clearly note that it is disputed by the consumer and provide either the consumer's statement or a clear and accurate codification or summary thereof.

...says its up to the CRA to mark it in dispute...assuming you sent them a dispute letter.

how does this letter sound? any information would be benefiacial. thanks

I received the information your offices sent me. Unfortunately the accounts I had disputed with you were not verified with the documentation sent to me. I have enclosed a copy of everything that was sent to me plus other utility bills further proving these accounts do not belong to me.

Account #**********

Account not verified I demand deletion of this inaccurate account. I requested debt validation 07/09/05 and after 30 days I have not received any documentation regarding this account but you verified with the Credit Reporting Agencies 7/21/05 as a valid trade line#. Furthermore, when I pulled my Credit Report recently,08/03/05 I noticed you had not reported that I was disputing this trade line . I advised your company I have no knowledge of this account and besides I never received a dunning letter 5 days after the initial contact#.

Account # ***********

I have explained to your company that this account is not mine. I am enclosing copies of utility bills showing my residence for those alleged dates and further proving my point. I also demand deletion of this account. The information sent to me did not include a signature, social security number, or etc. It was also very confusing. One page said I allegedly owed $$$$.63. But the cover page stated an amount of $$$$.29 (and a totally different dollar amount is showing on my credit report) which was not justified in the alleged documents used for verification. FDCPA section 807(2)(a)# creates another violation pertaining to my rights. I also never received a dunning letter for this account after the initial contact pertaining to this account.

I demand deletion of these accounts and a check made out to myself for $1,000(x4) per violation for the denial of my rights under the FDCPA. This account is not to be sold to another company and are not to be collected from me again. If you were to prove these debts were mine I would take care of my responsibility but I have no knowledge of these accounts. While I prefer not to litigate, I will use the courts as needed to enforce my rights under the FDCPA. You have 15 days to respond from the date of this letter.

Thank You, Keith Griffin

could someone critic my letter before i send this. i am still a newbie and want to make sure i am not messing this up or leaving any thing out... thanks
