I received a CMRRR regarding a Valdiation Letter that I sent out. I sent out a letter to Access Capital. (I live in Cali) Access sent me a copy of the orginal application from the original Credit company. I know that I don't owe the CA but should I send the a C& D letter to the CA and tell them that I only deal with the OC. If I do that should I sent a DV letter to the OC? Please help. Thank you

First, how old is this debt? When was the last payment made? An original application is not validation. All that proves is that you had an account. Are all the charges correct? Does it detail the billing from 0 to whatever the current debt is?

C/D= please sue me. Only do that if you are past the SOL in your state.

The OC may have sold the account to a JDB or assigned it to a CA. Find out.

You can't DV an OC.
