mojorison_2000
I recently had a summary judgement rendered against me. I have periodically been going to the courthouse to check the case file to look at what the bad guys are up to. Yesterday I noted a copy of the judgement in the file with a statement from the constable stating that he could not serve me the judgement after multiple attempts. So, can the evil collection attorney do anything to me in reality as long as I am unserved?
ghacorp
It may be legal in your jurisdiction to render a Summary Judgment when service of process cannot be completed after a certain number of attempts. They were attempting to serve a summons (Writ of Lev) not a judgment.
