If I had my husband in a joint account and I was the main holder and I did bad on the account and never paid my overdrawns. Will that collection go on my husbands credit as well? The collection went on mine. But will it report to his credit as well? And if it does how can he dispute that?

It depends on the specifics of the account agreement but if it is truly a joint account then both people are legally responsible, good or bad, for how the account is handled.

Whether it is reported to the credit bureaus is another matter...account activity is likely to be reporetd to the agencies that collect that sort of data (Check Systems, etc) but I think it's unlikely that it will show up on your or his credit bureau reports.

That said, if it is reported, it will likely show up for both of you.
