Update on the GE Care Credit false lates on my files

I have posted about this a lot. I paid off GE Care Credit and afterward, they put erroneous finance and service charges on our CRs which I got the Ohio AG to make them remove. Then, in apparent retaliation, they placed 120 days worth of false lates on our six credit files. So, there are lates reported where there is no balance whatsoever!

At first we called GE and they said "just dispute it." So we did, and over and over and over they verified it as correct. So many times that the CRAs won't investigate it any more.

I took it again to my Attorney General, and we find out that you can't get to GE Card Co in Ohio anymore. You have to complain to the Kansas AG. I would do this myself but the AG has more pull than a consumer. My AG's secretary set our file aside for a whole month - because it's too complicated for her to understand. She's taking care of it now, but I have to help her and tell her what to do. (She's no spring chicken, either).

If you all are wondering why I am doing it this way, it's because the AG's complaint worked very well last time and got the job done. Also, it seemed to really irritate GE Card Co!! 8-) Will keep you updated.

GE CARE CREDIT IS EVIL.

Hmmm, If you really believe they are reporting false info in retaliation sue them. You can only go so far trying to work things out amicably..... then you need to nail their arses to the wall. I understand that is easier said then done and I personally am not the litigeous type but.......... you shouldn't continue to let them take up your time, energy, and hurt your financial situation indefinetely.
