tmac01
I read that when you send an ITS letter to use a CC and just put a name there so the CA or CRAs will wonder if its a lawyer. Has anyone ever done this and had success ? Thanks
Methuss
I seriously doubt that they take a cc at the bottom of the letter seriously. I would not bet on it working. A more effective tactic is to get a copy of the small claims form from your courthouse and fill it out. Attach a copy to the letter and state that that is what you intend to file if it remains unresolved. Set a date on the form and make sure the letter states that is the day it will be filed.I can't say strongly enough. NO BLUFFING. If you do not follow through with it, you will loose all credibility and they will never take you seriously after that. the whole thing will become an uphill battle.
