lisa8888
I pulled my info off myfico.com, and it shows a collections account from a few years ago. It must be on there recently, because never heard about it when I bought my house. How do I find out contact info, it sayd NCO Bank Of A- So I'd imagine its bank of america? Any ideas? I was going to send a letter to them to validate it. Thanks in advance
IHateCAs
NCO is the CA or JDB.BoA is the OC.Myfico usually doesn't provide the most easily readable reports.

lisa8888
Thanks Brave Dave. I called them, and they have no records with my SSN on it. So I am sending them a letter to validate the debt and also a letter to Equifax. Is that all I need to do, then just wait to hear back?
BraveDave
Begin a dispute on the item with the CRA, and begin a DV with the CA.Find the illustrated process here:http://www.creditinfocenter.com/rebuild/debt_validation_workflow.shtml
