cavazos007
Has anyone one had any luck trying to get this card? I have a Chevron card but after the year is over I want to switch to the Shell card. I know in the past it was really hard to get. My credit has improved so im hoping i can get it. Does anyone know what there credit criteria is? Chevron is getting rid of all there gas station and it's hard to find one. But there is tons of shells all over Texas. It's like another BOA. Anonymous
Shell is Citibank. So Citibank rules apply.Any Texacos? Texaco also honors the Chevron card.
pplschamp
Is Chevron just getting rid of the stations in your area or all of their stations?
cavazos007
I'm not sure because I drive all around my city almost! And I rarely see a Chevron. I don't know what's going on with them. So I wonder what kind of rules Citibank has?
southcarolinagirl
Are you aware that you can use you Chevron card at most Texaco gas stations and they say by mis 2006,you will be able to use them at ALL Texaco stations. Also Chevron has just in the recent past bought out Union 76/ Unical,so even more stations are coming. If you are in the stages of repairing your credit, I might make the suggestion that you hold on to your Chevron card, they will be good to you as long as you are good to them.Just my 2 cent.southcarolinagirl
cavazos007
No I'm not doing any credit repairs. My credit is clean. Every Texaco that I go to they don't take the Chevron card. They are all different Franchises they aren't all owned by Chevron. It's weird.
Anonymous
Hmmm ... ironically the Chevron card I picked, was the one with the NASCAR Texaco Havoline car on the front of it.Knowing my luck it would not be accepted at a Chevron - but accepted at a Texaco!Considering Chevron is the most expensive petrol in many places that may not be a bad thing. cavazos007
You know I started noticing that Chevron's gas is much higher than everyone elses. I wonder why?
