Who marks it in dispute?

As I understand it, if you dispute with an OC or CA, they are supposed to send the CRA an "in dispute" flag...on the other hand, if you dispute with the CRA, they are supposed to raise a "consumer disputes" flag.

Although credit scoring is a closely guarded algorithm, I beleive the first has a slightly more positive effect than the second.
