Who goes to trial for lawfirms far away?

Recommended Posts

It seems that lawyers who file lawsuits against consumers for collection cases try their best to not actually go to court. Papers are filed by fax or filed by a processor and they always just use their pleading papers instead of showing up for motion like summary judgment motions. So my question is, do these lawfirm send one of their attorney to court when it's time for trial or do they hire an local attorney in our area to handle the case, especially if they are hundreds of miles away from the court room and trial is at 8:30am?
