What is a Nutcase Letter?

I just sent one to TU, actually. Got me nowhere. I was upset about a previously deleted item (closed five yrs ago) that not only reappeared, but reappeared with a new "closed" date of NOW. I was furious. You reinsert this deleted account, with new information suggesting that it's recent, plus you didn't inform me?

The letter I received back said "we can confirm that account #xxxxxxx does not currently appear on your credit report."

HOW DOES THAT HELP ME? It didn't appear on my credit report last month either. What does that prove? I'm telling you to STOP REINSERTING IT, and the reappearance of it by definition means that it is sometimes there and sometimes not. The fact that it's not there right now doesn't mean it won't be there next month. THAT'S THE ISSUE, YOU MORONS. I want you to ensure that it does not reappear again, not confirm whether or not it was there on the day you received my letter!!!

These people just drive me insane. :x

Doesn't a collection company or creditor have the right to report a TL 3 times.......for a total of 21 years if they're real jerks?

I know I've heard this somewhere and have searched the FCA and can't find anything.

Did I dream this? If so, I'm worried about myself and think I've looked at one too many credit reports. I need a life.
