Advice on Credit Monitoring Programs

Question for you guys- When I was monitoring my credit and getting b*mpage, I was using mycreditkeeper. That was in the good old days when a daily credit pull meant another soft inquiry and fresh information crossed your screen each time. I cancelled them the day I got the letter that the information would only refresh monthly.

A good friend of mine is coming out of a BK, and I am helping him rebuild credit and clean up his CRA files. I am not sure if there are any reasonably priced credit monitoring sites that still allow:

1) daily soft inquiries to accrue (good to bang off some unwanted TU & EQ inquiries)

or, most imprtantly,

2) fresh information daily

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Free credit report from Experian appears to update for at least 90 days. Some people report even longer freebie time...

Not only that, but it updates all the time... not just once a day at say, midnight. All day long, whenever something changes.

Just so I am clear- for a flat monthly fee, he can get fresh info on ALL THREE CRAs through TrueCredit or Experian website? What about soft inquiries? Any shot at bump ing inquiries off anymore? I am just a little skeptical because both of these seem to be owned by the CRAs themselves, and not a 3rd party.
