FreshD
Back in September I posted about Cambece (how they refused to validate and continued to call constantly). After a C & D letter, I have heard nothing from them - until last week. The phone calls started again (I ignored them). I got a letter from them stating they got permission from their client to pursue a civil suit against me. They have filled out the paperwork but wanted to give me one last chance to pay the debt they say I owe. They have continued to call a few times a day (sometimes they leave a message, sometimes not). They called again today and my stepdaughter answered the phone. She just called me at work. She said a "Janelle from an attorney's office called and said that I must call her today or I will have to face the consequences." Any advice on what to do with these people? BTW, I am in MA where they are located, though a few hours away from their office. Their "client" is ANJ - and I have no idea who they are. LadynRed
Got this from Bud Hibbs' site:It is important that EVERYONE who has been wronged go after Cambece. The best place to do that from anywhere in America is through his state bar. Here is the link, with information on how to file an ethics complaint against this sorry excuse for an attorney:File complaints against Slimy Tony with the MA Bar at:http://massbar.org/lawhelp/legal_info/index.php?sw=396http://www.budhibbs.com/debtcollectorpages/cambece_james_a.htm
