TheRoadBack
Any know if NCO is strictly a JDB or are they also a regular collector for the OC. I am trying to determine if they own my debt now or are just collecting upon it.Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
willingtocope
Its my understanding that NCO is both a CA and a JDB. You should be able to tell from your CRs. If its been sold, the OC's tradeline should say "Sold to another lender"...
nascar
NCO collects for Verizon, for one.
Robert Nashville/Savannah
Keep in mind that one of the goals of the Dispute/DV process is for you to establish the legal relationship between the CA and the OC...that's part of the information you should be requesting. astiman
Also, keep in mind that NCO actually does some legitimate local and medical collections also. Companies actually hire them to do their routine billing.Scary, eh?
TheRoadBack
thnaks for the info. The funny thing is the OC has vanished from my report.
