When you go to Experian site and print your score you know get the Experian Vantage Score instead of Score Plus..companies that formally used Score Plus will they now be using the Vantage Score instead and how will this affect your chances of approval/denial. :)

If you have Experian Credit Manager you get the Score Plus Score ... if you purchase your score after viewing a free or paid for Experian Credit Report you get the Vantage Score. Can't tell you how it will effect credit decisions ... you get graded with a letter grade so we shall see! It is all about the money anyway ... we get poorer and they of course get richer!

They are not rolling this out until the end of the summer.

But there is already so much resistance from the mortgage industry, the credit card companies, etc. to this that I'm not sure consumers will ever even have to deal with it.

It ought to be interesting to see how all this unfolds... I personally want more competition in the market so that the market gets better and we have better choices... However, I am inclined to be like the mortgagers and credit card outfits that resist change...
