I had a creditor call me about a debt. stupid me gave them my account information and told them they can take out two payment of $55 each,(on specific dates). the creditor ended up taking the money,(on the wrong dates, and overdrew my account), taking two payments of $3 each, an extra $30, and now another $25. I've contacted my bank and paid $12 to make it were there company can't debit any more money, but they keep changing there name, to make the debits. I have paid them all this money and $120 in bank fee's. I know I have to close my account, but this leads me to my two questions.

A. Can I sue them, what rights do I have, what can I sue them for, ect.

B Will closing my account and opening a different one hurt my credit?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I had kind of the same thing happen to me with one of those payday loan companies  . I ticked off someone there, and she stated that they would continue to draft my account, thus causing me to incur od fees. Even resorted to drafting on days not even close to my payday, and refused to let me make payment arrangements. Thankfully, my bank reversed all the fees, and put a block on my account. They have also closed that account, and opened a new one for me.

Never, ever give any of those leaches your banking info!
